Achievements our school has actively participated in various sports wherein Deaf-Mute and blind students have taken part at the state level as well as all India level. Our Students have achieved many medals at these events.

  • The school has hosted a ‘State Level Deaf Chess Tournament’ in 1999 and a ‘State Level Deaf Athletes Meet’ in 2002 and won the championship trophy for both. Eight students received a scholarship of Rs.5400 each from the National Sports Association.
  • ‘National Level Athletic Championship For Deaf’ was held on January 12-15, 2010 at Jamshedpur (Jharkhand). Eight athletes participated from our school in the tournament and won one Gold and four Silver medals.
  • ‘State Level Volleyball Championship For The Deaf’ was held at Kannauj (U.P.) on December 7-8, 2010. Our school team of junior boys participated in the tournament and won the first position.
  • A district level Tournament for Disabled Children’ was held on February 8, 2011 at Geen Park, Kanpur by Special Olympic Bharat, (U.P. Chapter). Forty one students from our school participated in the tournament. Five students were selected for the state games championship that was held on March 1-4, 2011 at Lucknow, where they won four Gold, one Silver, and one Bronze medals.
  • National level Tournament for Deaf Girls’ was held in Bangalore (Karnataka) on January 28-31, 2011. Seven female athletes participated from our school in the tournament and won one Gold, one Silver and two Bronze medals.
  • National Deaf Athletic Tournament‘ was held at JRD, Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur on January 10-14, 2012. Nine students from our school participated in the tournament and won two Gold, two Silver & one Bronze medals.
  • State Level Championship for The Deaf’ was held in Ghaziabad (U.P.) on February 9-11, 2013. Our school team was awarded the overall championship with eleven Gold, nine Silver, five Bronze medals.
  • ‘National Level Athletic Tournament for Deaf’ was held at Kantirva Stadium Banglore, on April 24-29, 2013. Four athletes from our school participated in the tournament and won four Bronze medals.
